Founder/Director/Rider: Jamie Robinson was born into a two-wheeled world, thanks to a motorcycle-obsessed father who chopped up an old Garelli moped and taught his son to ride at age 3½. After growing up watching his dad race around tracks like Cadwell and Mallory Park on his 500cc BSA Gold Star, Jamie swapped his dirt-bike gear for racing leathers and joined his dad in racing the asphalt tracks in 1992. After going on to race in the British, European and World Championship events, as well as the Isle of Man TT, Jamie swapped his racing leathers for adventure gear in 2008. He started traveling the world and has been trying to capture it on camera ever since.
Justin was raised in the mountains of Colorado, so skiing, climbing and riding motorcycles have been part of his life since he could walk. Road racing, adventure riding and off-road riding are particular favorites. He raced a 1098 superbike for several seasons. As part of his job at Butler Maps, he uses a Ducati Multistrada to ride and rate the best roads in the United States. In 2007, he rode around the world on his adventure bike. Exploring on a motorcycle is part of what defines not just his work, but who he is.
Alan is a native of Ireland and runs a successful development and construction business in the Seattle area. He lived in Ireland, England, and Vancouver, British Columbia, before settling in America’s Pacific Northwest. He still works with people across the globe on various projects. Currently Lash owns an 1199 Superleggera, Desmosedici RR, and all “R” model Ducati superbikes with Troy Bayliss connections. He raced a 1098 at the national level. He has mostly raced at tracks in the western U.S., but has raced at tracks in Canada as well.
Raoul was born in San Francisco and started riding motorcycles about three years ago. He was so hooked on motorcycles that he sold his place in San Francisco so he could get a larger garage for his bikes. His current collection includes a Monster 1100 and four Ducati Sport Classics, including his cherished Paul Smart. He’s a former DJ, and he still produces music in his spare time. He also enjoys photography. His current passion, especially from a fitness standpoint, is cycling. One of his favorite rides is from San Francisco to Point Reyes and back. We guess you could say he really likes things with two wheels.
Sara enjoys her career as a firefighter for Portland Fire & Rescue and currently holds the rank of Battalion Chief. She loves to ride her Monster 1100 on the backroads of Oregon for stress relief. She can buzz out any time of the week to escape to the Columbia Gorge for short rides, or out to the Pacific Ocean or Mt. Hood for longer weekend rides. She’s an adrenaline seeker (hence firefighting), so she also enjoys her Ducati 848 superbike. She meets other motorcycle enthusiasts and takes her riding skills to another level during track days at Portland International Raceways, put on by Ducati MotoCorsa. When she’s not riding, she enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, microbrews, live music (jazz & blues festivals), weight training and Pilates. Her friends have tried to get her into windsurfing, kiteboarding, skiing and snowboarding, surfing and rock climbing, but, in her own words, “I truly suck at them.” Sara says that no other hobby has captured the true essence of living in joy than riding her Ducati.
